The Design for Inclusion project was run by Erasmus X in 2022. It was a multifaceted project which at its core sought to support the Equality, Inclusion and Diversity agenda for students and staff at Erasmus University Rotterdam. The digital stories were produced as part of the larger project and the workshop was designed and led by Dr Teti Dragas (Durham University) with the support of Dr Sonja Wendel (Erasmus University Rotterdam) and Fanny Passeport (Erasmus X). The stories you see here were created on a two day intensive digital storytelling weekend workshop from six self-selected students/staff. These are powerful stories created and shared in our group that are now available for you to watch and highlight many of the often hidden realities that students with visible and invisible disabilities often face. The storytellers were incredibly brave and candid in their stories and provide us with key insights into their worlds.
